This one is pretty easy, and I have two selections.
The first one is the second Lion King. You know how people have said that the first Lion King is Hamlet, only with lions? Well, The Lion King 2 is Romeo and Juliet.
Except they live. Because it is Disney.
I have always loved this one.
The other sequel(s) I loved were the other two Aladdin movies. Yes, Aladdin is a trilogy. In particular I like the third one, Aladdin and the King of Thieves. When I was younger, and would find these at the library, I would get so excited. I decided to borrow them again more recently, and didn’t enjoy the second one that much. However, the third one was just as I had remembered it.
I am rebuilding my Disney collection in DVD format, and I found Aladdin and the King of Thieves on DVD recently. It is definitely one of the best sequels.
I also like that Lion King 1 1/2 can be viewed as an adaptation of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead.

I actually haven’t seen that edition to the Lion King series, but I find it interesting that it is also an adaption! And where did you find the King of Thieves? That must have been exciting.
